Transformational leader with a passion for biblical truth, wisdom from the early church, and making classic golden era influenced Hip-hop music that glorifies Christ. With a background in urban school turnaround, Asset Based Community Development, church planting, and church restart, pastor Glen offers a unique skillset to Rec Church and the body of Christ. He holds a BA degree in Biblical Theological Studies (North Park University), MS degree in Instructional Design and Technology (Full Sail University), and an MDiv degree (North Park Theological Seminary).
Tom Kubiak
Executive Pastor
Affectionately referred to as ‘the sage’ and veteran pastoral leader of the team, Pastor Tom offers a wealth of wisdom to Rec Church and the body of Christ. He has over forty years of senior pastoral leadership experience, both from within an established church environment and as a church planting pastor. He has a passion for gospel expansion, leadership development and coaching, and discipleship in one-on-one and small group contexts. Pastor Tom holds BA degree in Bible/Pastoral Studies, and a MDiv degree (Denver Baptist Theological Seminary).
Nathan Irving
Worship & Outreach Pastor
A creative visionary and gifted servant-leader in the Lord’s church. Pastor Nathan is a skillful musician, music producer, preacher and teacher of God’s word. He has served on ministry teams that have planted churches, led global missions, and mentored young adults. He has also served Christian college students as an adjunct professor and administrator. Pastor Nathan holds a Music and Psychology degree (Anne Arundel Community College) and a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies (Cornerstone College of Virginia).
Myles Shelby
Youth & Young Adult Pastor
Our youth ministry systems and structures guy with an extensive background in the youth development field. Pastor Myles is passionate about helping this generation of youth understand God’s kingdom. He emphasizes the gospel while highlighting fundamental tenets of the Christian faith in relevant and palatable ways for young people to digest. Pastor Myles holds a BS degree in History (Lincoln University of Missouri) and will attain his Master of Practical Theology degree (Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University) in May 2024.
